EABID Launch, Brussels
EABID’s first General Assembly and public launch — two days in Brussels that founded the association and set its agenda.
On 23–24 March 2026, the European Association of Business and Innovation Districts held its first General Assembly and public launch in Brussels.
Day one — foundation
The formal foundation of the association: statutes approved, governance elected, budget set and the action plan confirmed.
Day two — roundtables
Representatives from 14 European countries gathered at the Microsoft Innovation Hub for two high-level roundtables, exploring how policy, capital and collaboration translate into real outcomes for innovation districts across Europe.
By uniting our strengths and amplifying our collective voice, we will ensure that Europe takes a position at the forefront of global innovation.
Leadership comes from three founding organisations — CEDAES (Spain), Sandyford Business District (Ireland) and Oeiras Valley (Portugal) — with Graham Colclough providing strategic direction.
